It's stupid to say that I don't like being in the public eye, but I don't like doing stuff that's not needed.

But anonymity is very important to me, and I don't want to be recognized in public more than I already am.

Privacy is relational. It depends on the audience. You don't want your employer to know you're job hunting. You don't spill all about your love life to your mom or your kids. You don't tell trade secrets to your rivals.

I mean, I don't want to sound - of course it's very nice, people come up and say appreciative things about my work. But the loss, in terms of privacy and anonymity, is no small thing to me.

Privacy is big for me. To do interviews even, I have a very love/hate with it.
