There's no question in my mind that I think I would have been a better president than Barack Obama has been.

I would say that Barack Obama has always been a real optimist about what can be accomplished. He believes that government can be used to create systemic, long-term, real change. And the first lady is more of a skeptic.

Now, being one who lived in the era of Obama, there are so many markers of improvement made. It's hard to be mindful of that, in the same way you're going, 'Oh everything's cool now!' and it isn't. But I try to be mindful of how much of an improvement there has been because that gives hope. You need hope. I need hope!

People want change. How is Barack going to do it? I think McCain can bring change.

Obama is a great leader. He can fire people up and get them to do what he wants.

All the issues that have come up under the Obama administration would be continued under Hillary Clinton.

Mr. Obama would be a disheartening president even during a super boom, with his grim demeanor and empty rhetoric, as well as his obvious hatred of business bravado.

A lot of the things that will really improve the world fortunately aren't dependent on Washington doing something different.
