Belief is such a powerful thing - but because it is, it can also be very destructive and it's very easily manipulated.
For me, and I suspect for lots of other people too, bad things actually sometimes make you think more about faith and the fact that you're not facing these things on your own.
My faith helps me overcome such negative emotions and find my equilibrium.
If we're honest, we all have some measure of wrong believing in our lives. If you don't believe this, all you need to do is ask yourself, 'Have I often felt anxious, worried, or fearful that the worst would happen to me and my loved ones?'
Why should I try to make you believe the things I believe in?
Simply put, you believe that things or people make you unhappy, but this is not accurate. You make yourself unhappy.
The truth is that there is no actual stress or anxiety in the world; it's your thoughts that create these false beliefs. You can't package stress, touch it, or see it. There are only people engaged in stressful thinking.
I am not a religious person, but I am spiritual. But I don't believe in things like guilt.
Do not flinch from experiences that might destroy your beliefs. The thought you cannot think controls you more than thoughts you speak aloud. Submit yourself to ordeals and test yourself in fire. Relinquish the emotion which rests upon a mistaken belief, and seek to feel fully that emotion which fits the facts.
