I'm fascinated by almost any mythology that I can get my hands on.

Actually, I love mythology. When I was a kid I was obsessed with myth and I wanted to be a mythologist when I grew up. Then I realized I really just like stories.

I started studying mythology, just on my own. Joseph Campbell, mysticism.

It's no secret that I've always had an interest in mythology. Whether it's Arthurian or ancient Greek or even Marvel universe. I've always connected with it on some level.

I do love mythology.

All my stories are like the Greek and Roman myths, and the Egyptian myths, and the Old and New Testament.

I become my characters, and then try to allow events in the story to take their own course. I try not to play God, but to let them work out their own destiny.

All my work, really, is based on my brothers and sisters. I had so many adventures with them and a big part of the work is to recreate those. It's easy for me to be around a lot of people, because I can retreat. I can watch everything.

Mythology does not interest me. Nor does history. But the possible overlap between history and mythology excites me immensely.

I love coming up with the stories and being creative and working with creative people and coming up with visuals and creating characters.
