Some people have questioned whether or not I can play a nice guy. Sometimes you can't win for losing.

It is always more fun to play a bad guy than to be yourself as you can create a character unlike your own and be someone you are not for a change.

People who know me would say they get a kick out of the fact that I'm always playing nice people, not that I'm not a nice person, but it's not a defining element.

But I'm trying to play into this role as much as possible and be a nicer person in real life.

You know, I don't really think you have to play nice guys.

I can be a nice person, but if someone is messing with someone I care about, the tougher side comes out a little more.

Being nice and competitive are two different things.

I'm dying to play a nice guy! No one's willing to cast me. They know I'm all right at bashing people up, but they don't know if I can do the other stuff. And I can.

A common misperception of me is... that I am a tough, rough northerner, which I suppose I am really. But I'm pretty mild-mannered most of the time. It's the parts that you play I guess. I don't mind it. I'm not a tough guy. I'd like to act as a fair, easy-going, kind man at some point.
