I don't know what that Method is. Acting is life, to me, and should be.

I think people are always trying to demystify whatever acting is, so they want to know what your method is.

I shoot people in a way that makes the audience feel equal to them. And it's hard to express and it's hard to execute but I think it works on every level - the choice of the material the choice of the actor, my relationship with the actor, and so on.

With acting, it's like you form chemistry with different people in different ways, so it's really added even more fun to work, you know?

When it comes to acting, you really have to create movement which in some ways is dancing. And dancing, I feel is very important to act as well. I wouldn't put one over the other.

I never really think of acting and directing as being separate; they are just different expressions of the same thing.

I always have a rule that acting is acting and truth is truth and you just go out there and you do it. But what happens in each medium is that you have other responsibilities. The acting remains the same, but each medium dictates assuming other halves to make the acting work.

We don't think of them as acting, but we take on certain characteristics based on where we function, and those relationships draw out aspects of who we are as people. And that's what acting is. Different parts draw out different parts of your nature.

My approach to acting is that I am totally intuitive. I read the script and I get it. If I don't get it, I can't do it.

To me acting is like a jigsaw puzzle. The jigsaw puzzle is of the sky and all the pieces are blue. Out of this you have to create a human being and put it together.
