Writing is my therapy. In addition to my real therapy. God knows where I'd be without it. I'd probably still be at my last job, working in HR at a religious organization. I was horribly miscast.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
Writing is my therapy. My feelings build up inside of me and then I sit down and write a song.
I'd gone through the ups and downs and curveballs that life throws at you. I found writing to be very therapeutic and it helped me with a lot of the stuff I was going through.
I won't say that writing is therapy, but for me, the act of writing is therapy. The ability to be productive is good for my mental health. It's always better for me to be writing than vegetating on some couch.

For me, my writing benefits from my experience.
I would always get a lot of work as a writer, but that wasn't what I wanted to be. For me, I was only doing half of what I really wanted to do - write and direct.
If I weren't a writer, I'd be a psychiatrist.
Writing is so entwined with my being that I can't imagine a life without it.
I really don't feel that writing is therapy.
