I'm definitely incredibly attracted to the aesthetic of what is typically deemed goth stuff, but. A lot of my experience growing up was in being around that kind of thing, and it's just what sinks into a person's brain.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I wouldn't consider myself Goth, but I love Gothic pieces.
To me, goth is like really hard black lipstick, black nails, black clothes.
Goth culture, as mired in the past as it is, even it goes through changes, so Goth when I was growing up is not what it is now. When I think of Goth culture as it is at the moment I think of mall culture.
For me, Gothic is something from my youth, when I had a heavy metal phase.
I like simple clothes, but sometimes I'll go for a goth-witch vibe.
I don't know why people think I'm a Goth - that's a misconception.
As a teenager I went all Goth, but I wasn't mopey enough. I would pretend to be, but I'd end up making people laugh.
I've always been attracted to the darker things in life. I was never one to go for light, airy stuff, even as a child. My whole aesthetic has always been one of the darker side. That rings true also in my tastes in music. It's just always something I've gravitated to naturally.
I'm not really into gothic music, it's not really my type of scene but each to their own. I listen to pretty much anything.
The Goth character was a difficult thing to get my head round. I'm not really a fan of Goth music. I'm more a piano and guitar man - that's what I love.
