A group of white South Africans recently killed a black lawyer because he was black. That was wrong. They should have killed him because he was a lawyer.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
Michael Brown happened to be black. Trayvon Martin happened to be black. Eric Garner was a black man. So this pattern continues over and over.
As an attorney, I could be rather flamboyant in court. I did not act as though I were a black man in a white man's court, but as if everyone else - white and black - was a guest in my court. When trying a case, I often made sweeping gestures and used high-flown language.
The vast majority of murdered whites are murdered by other whites. That's why there's no national outrage when a white person is killed by a black person: it's not evidence of some underlying black violence problem directed against white people.
But black people fall for that same argument, and they go around talking about law breakers. We did not make the laws in this country. We are neither morally nor legally confined to those laws. Those laws that keep them up, keep us down.
Clearly, a large number of African-Americans don't have faith that the laws are being executed fairly in Ferguson, and that's a problem... We need to ensure Africans-Americans feel confident in the rule of law.
Weak minds exaggerate too much the wrong done to the Africans.
White shall not neutralize the black, nor good compensate bad in man, absolve him so: life's business being just the terrible choice.
When a black person kills a black person, the media ignores it completely.
Lawyer acted without authority from our band. He had no right to sell the Wallowa country.
We say that the ICC is targeting Africans, but all of the victims in our cases in Africa are African victims.
