Climbing's always been a massive hobby of mine up until, kind of, recent times when I've had family, but no, it's been a driving passion in my life, and, uh, I've always wanted to climb the Matterhorn. It was the mountain that, sort of, inspired me to climb, as a youngster.

I enjoyed climbing with other people, good friends, but I did quite a lot of solo climbing, too.

I think, as a young guy, I was always drawn to being in wild places. Climbing was a logical extension of that.

Through climbing, I've learned to find goals and work toward them. That's just the way I love to live.

I happily claim expertise in no single aspect of climbing, which is what has kept the passion burning hot all these years.
