I learned as a mascot that rules don't really apply to you. As long as you don't go crazy with that. You want to go be the 12th man on a football play, they might have an objection, but otherwise, if you stay out of the way of the game, you can do most anything.

I know who I am and can deal with the use of Indian mascots... But I know it can be demeaning to a group of people. Maybe it would be all right if they were truly honoring the people and are giving due respect to the people they are representing.

We don't own the team; we just rent it. The fans own it, and a lot of times, they haven't been happy with the renter.

The whole point of corporate mascots is to be distinctive. No one in his right mind would ever confuse the Hamburglar with Mayor McCheese.

The fans have been great to me. I don't think it's asking too much to have me sign something for them.

To me it's the best trophy you can win and to bring it back for all them fans that have supported us right through would be something special.

Purchasing the Bobcats is the culmination of my post-playing career goal of becoming the majority owner of an NBA franchise.

All we do is sign great teams, and stay out of the way. The rest will take care of itself.

The most important thing however is the money. What use would it be to us, to have a a mighty stadium but a useless team, because we couldn't afford anything better?
