So much of my life is not about work and that is usually mainly what I do tweet about. We live a very quiet life.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I've got a different life. I live up on a farm; I don't have anything to do with social media.
My wife and I always comment that our lives are relatively mundane. She's a writer as well, I'm a writer, we spend most of our time writing, and kind of going to yoga in Brooklyn.
My Twitter reflects what's going on with me in my life.
We live a pretty real life within our Hollywood selves. I'm not working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by any means.
I tweet in the morning and the evening. To write 12 hours a day, there is a moment when you're really tired. It's my relaxing time.
I deliberately keep myself apart from a lot of stuff; I don't Tweet, I don't do Facebook, I don't blog, and that's largely because I spend my working life staring at a screen and hitting a keyboard, I am trying to cut down on that, not increase it.
I'm not on Twitter or Facebook or anything. I just feel like my life is better without it.
I don't do Twitter because I don't want to talk about myself more than I already have to.
I don't do Facebook and I don't do Twitter, and already I notice that, with some of my friends, there's a whole sphere of conversation that I'm completely on the outside of, and that's my choice. But, to a greater extent, that's what the whole of life is like.
I think it's very helpful having Twitter and all that. I mainly talk about work on Twitter. I keep my personal life separate from my work life, but I think it helps because everybody's on the Internet now - everybody has Facebook; everybody has Twitter.
