The pace of television is very different from film.

I enjoy the process of TV; I like the pace of it; I like the continual work.

I liked in television that you do some work, then you perform, then you stop and you have a break because they have to set up lights, and then you do some more work. I really liked the pace of it; it really agreed with me.

In features, we're languid: we shoot one or two scenes over, like, three days. In TV, the pace is so different. You're shooting ten scenes a day, going way into the future or way back into the past. It's complete madness, and I'm just trying to keep up with this really electric pace.

With all my films, the pace is not very fast, and so people get bored with them and comment that they're just people talking in rooms and all that.

I love TV.
