I really fell in love with Africa.

Every Christmas, all around Ghana, there are tons of these parties and they are full of everything that exists in human life in Ghana and worldwide.

My mum was born and raised in Ghana and has a lot of Ghanaian values and traditions and morals. All that rubbed off on me, and that's why I have a lot of love and good energy in me - that universal energy is a Ghanaian thing.

I fell in love with Africa and began helping people fix things there.

Africa is not a fun place, you know. A fun place is somewhere that lifts the spirits, that cossets the senses. I don't think that can be said of the Africa I traveled in.

Africa is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

The biggest lesson from Africa was that life's joys come mostly from relationships and friendships, not from material things. I saw time and again how much fun Africans had with their families and friends and on the sports fields; they laughed all the time.

I love Africa in general South Africa and West Africa, they are both great countries.

Never again should Ghanaians have to resort to dubious means to get to, or live in, foreign lands, simply to make a living.

My mum is from Ghana, and she used to play highlife music in the house, and my dad used to listen to music.
