I've been writing in some way, shape, or form for as long as I can remember.

I do enjoy the form of things. I enjoy finding the form that seems best to fit what I'm thinking about. I don't set out to find a bizarre way of writing.

My forms are not abstractions of things in the real world. They're also not symbols. I would say that my job is to invent these forms and to put them together in a way that keeps your interest, to give the forms a quirky identity so you can engage with them, so you realize there's an inner intelligence or logic.

To find a form that accommodates the mess, that is the task of the artist now.

I love being creative in all forms.

As an architect, I learned to think and express myself on flat forms, on paper, and to imagine the contour of the lines of a design.

I want to do something creative, not just easy.

There's a fun, nostalgic aspect to Legos - people connect to the art on a different level. But it's also a medium that lets me design anything I can imagine. I especially enjoy creating curvy forms using rectangular pieces. Up close, you notice the sharp angles, but when you back away, the corners blend into curves.
