People have the right to say what they want, but as long as I can go to bed at night and look myself in the mirror, I'll be all right.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
People have the right to say what they want to.
I agree with myself on 80 percent of things, but when I look at myself in the mirror in the morning, I still have inner debates about the right thing to do.
So the point is, I don't have a right to tell anybody what's right or wrong about their lives. Who am I to tell you at any given moment of the day what would be right for you?
I think that everybody has a right to their own thoughts, their own feelings and their own private moments, if they want them.
I think anyone who doesn't say that they'd like people to think that they're doing the right thing is wrong. I mean, I'd like it to be that way, but I've never allowed it to influence my actions.
I'm not going to be around for a long time, so I like to be able to look at myself in the mirror and say I talked about stuff when I'm not supposed to and didn't have to. I could be in the closet, but I feel insulted at the idea that I should be.
I do not hold with those who think it is all right to do whatever you want so long as it doesn't hurt anyone. Who's to be the judge of that?
People can say or think whatever they want... so in my reality, it's kind of irrelevant. I'm always the kind of person that does the right thing and keeps my side of the street clean.
A right is not what someone gives you; it's what no one can take from you.
I don't believe that saying things because you feel they are what people want to hear is the right way to be in any part of your life.
