I really think of myself just as a filmmaker.

When I started making films, like almost every filmmaker, I think, you're just so excited to be able to make a movie that you'll do anything.

I never really planned a career. I've tried to avoid it. I've tried to do this stuff I felt for, the stuff I like. So, I've just been meeting these fantastic directors who've offered me a variation of different parts and different films.

When you agree to work with a filmmaker, it's important that you accept their world. It's an adventure. I like that. I throw myself into the director's arms, into their universe.

When I was 20 years old, I had no plans to ever be a filmmaker.
