So my game is solid. So that obviously makes me feel confident, that like anybody else in this field, you name them, I feel like I've got the ability to win the golf tournament just as much as they have, and that's the way I'm going to take it.

I always say golf's a really good exposer of a player's personality.

Success in golf depends less on strength of body than upon strength of mind and character.

I did envisage being this successful as a player, but not all the hysteria around it off the golf course.

There are so many aspects of the game that you can work on - you can drive it father, you can drive it straighter, you can hit your irons higher and more consistently, you can get better with your wedges, and you can always putt better. There's never an end to that striving to get better in golf.

The confidence came along as I played well.

Golf is a game of ego, but it is also a game of integrity: the most important thing is you do what is right when no one is looking.
