When I was seven, I was allowed to be an extra in 'Parenthood,' which was amazing. But then I kind of got addicted to it, and my parents didn't want me to want to act. They felt that would be putting your kid in an adult world.

When I got pregnant, I had to concentrate on being pregnant for a whole nine months, even though I knew it was ruining my career at the time.

I had to force myself not to be overly protective because I had lost one child.

It was a sad process for me to become a mom, and a long process. I felt so embarrassed that I couldn't have a biological child.

I was not the pampered baby, no. I'm five years younger, and my parents were actually very strict with me, more strict than with the other ones.
