I loved music and dance, and that was exciting to me.

It was a great time to be making music because everything else was changing.

Just the fact that a thousand people in front of me were ready to hear me sing was one of the best feelings I can think of.

I listened to a lot of bands that were happening at the time, but no one in particular.

I remember being in high school and listening to Vivaldi's 'Winter' and being so overwhelmed with emotion.
