There's nothing like playing. You can coach and you can be around the game, but there is nothing like playing. It's just so much fun.

To play is to act out and be willful, exultant and committed, as if one is assured of one's prospects.

Regardless of who you are, what sport you chose, or how much success you achieved, playing the game is all about getting you ready for life.

I'm at the stage of my career when it's not only about winning and developing players, it's about having fun. That's a void in your life right now, but it's something you're going to have here.

I am not a player anymore.

If you aren't playing well, the game isn't as much fun. When that happens I tell myself just to go out and play as I did when I was a kid.
