Each member of the band has varied influences, and the same diversity is reflected in our fanbase.

We have a very loyal fan base, the kind tat buys the record the day it comes out, sees every show, and that's fantastic, but what about the people who would never hear about our band?

This band is a real collaboration, and I'm greatful to anybody who can appreciate our music. It doesn't have to be a certain kind of fan or person or anything. I think there's a little bit of something for everybody on this record.

In a lot of aspects it's cooler that we don't have a lot of really overly famous people in the band.

It seems like the older bands are bigger than ever. We get a mixed crowd where you have kids and old blokes like me.

No one is different from the other. I'm very grateful that I have a diverse group of fans as well. We welcome individuality over here in my world, and I think that my fans can see and feel that.

We're all music fans and we just love being in a band, and that's why we do it.

I like myself. I think I'm cool. But I think when you're in a band you take on a role within the band, and I think people over the course of years can identify those roles as almost being bigger than just the individual. I don't know. It's kind of hard to talk about.

I can't believe we've got away with becoming this huge band. And we still haven't done anything I think is that good yet.

It doesn't matter how good you are as a band or how good your music may be; if the fans aren't supporting it and buying your music, it's hard to make it.
