What the Pope thinks of being gay does not matter to the world. It matters to the people who like the Pope and follow the Pope... It is not a reflection of all religious people.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
To be honest, I don't really care about any pope. It's not something I think about much, to be quite honest with you.
The pope is a very... passionate man. He likes to get out with the people, and with that comes a large security risk.
One of the things I regret is that too often in our society a person's whole identity is shaped by their sexuality, or by their sexual orientation. In good Catholic eyes, a person's sexual orientation does not matter.
I see the work the pope has to do. It is a huge responsibility. Nobody campaigns for it.
The Pope is not a political figure.
I wouldn't take the Pope too seriously. He's a Pole first, a pope second, and maybe a Christian third.
What I'd say about that is that we must respect homosexuals in the church. I've got many homosexual friends, the issue is not in any way a homophobic reaction on my part.
It rarely adds anything to say, 'In my opinion' - not even modesty. Naturally a sentence is only your opinion; and you are not the Pope.
It's just so hard sometimes to work out where people stand on these things. I mean, isn't the Pope a feminist?
Why should we take advice on sex from the pope? If he knows anything about it, he shouldn't!
