Giving gifts to others is a fundamental activity, as old as humanity itself. Yet in the modern, complex world, the particulars of gift-giving can be extraordinarily challenging.

You do have to be fairly selfish when you have a gift. You cannot afford to let too many outside things get in the way.

If you can help guide somebody through a challenging moment because you've been there, that ends up becoming a great gift.

Sometimes things in life happen that allow us to understand our priorities very clearly. Ultimately you can see those as gifts.

We are all gifted, but we have to discover the gift, uncover the gift, nurture and develop the gift and use it for the Glory of God and for the liberation struggle of our people.

Find out what your gift is and nurture it.

That's the goal, to survive your gift.

Presents are symbolic. When you give them in your personal life, they should show that you are paying attention to the person to whom you're giving them.

We are never doing anyone any favors by withholding our gifts from the world. It's scary to be fierce, but you can't compromise that for fear of losing those around you.

So I show appreciation for the little gifts that have been handed to me.
