Don't let others define you. You define yourself.

There's so many things that people do on a daily basis that they do as a way of defining who they are. But really, what defines who you are is when circumstances push you to the edge.

Most people are defined by their titles, their cars, their house, where they came from, their color, their race, their religion. And so it's up to you to take control of your own life and define you. As long as you understand who you are and you have a solid foundation of understanding what your talents are, what your skills are.

All you can do is be your best self. I've always felt that I had to be that much more aware of how I present myself. I'm representing more than just me. I think every person should think that way.

I understand people have preconceived notions of who I am or what I do.

I've never looked at myself and said that I need to be a certain way to be around a certain sort of people. I've always wanted to stay true to myself, and I've managed to do that. People have to accept that.

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

You have to assert something about yourself in order to be yourself.

People often expect me to be something other than what I am.

Don't let anyone try to tell you who you are. Define yourself.
