I had everything working my way, strong as a bull. And still I ignored the rules of the game of life.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I've had lots of ups and downs. I've had situations where I've gone against the rules, and I've lost everything.
I'd taken the bull by the horns by liberating myself and creating a career. It took guts - it was scary and chancy - but they discounted me as empty-headed: some little piece of fluff without any brain that happened to come along.
I have based my life on being strong enough to do anything.
A lot of things have been thrown at me in life, and I've got through it all without a rule book, taking it one day at a time.
But contrary to what some people seem to think, I was never a bully. I was just a hard man.
I don't get to live by different rules. The same boundaries that apply to everyone apply to me.
I just live and let live and live my life pretty much according to the Golden Rule. And it turns out well for me.
A lot of times, you had to beat the bullies at their own game. But the difficulty is not becoming the bully yourself.
I was bullied and picked on because I was so different to everyone else, and I definitely didn't believe or even know I was fabulous back then. But those hard times made me everything I am today. It's all water under the bridge now, but being bullied and going through adversity definitely made me stronger.
I had to fight all my life to survive. They were all against me... but I beat the bastards and left them in the ditch.
