I like visiting LA, but I wouldn't want to live there.

I love visiting LA. It's an endlessly fascinating city, and is, of course, America's entertainment capital. Each time I go, I fall in love with it all over again. That said, it's not the sort of place I'd want to live.

I do actually like Los Angeles. Partly because I was told I wouldn't.

There's too many actors in LA. I mean, I'll go out there from time to time, but I always find it pretty soul-destroying. I don't drive, and the people kind of rub me the wrong way. It's just not home. You know? It's not New York. It's not... my town.

Every time I've been to Los Angeles, I've hated it. My brother works there, so I usually go each year for a holiday.

Any time I can come to L.A., because I live in New York... when I go to L.A., it really is about the people, having reunions and seeing my friends I don't see enough.

LA's a very hard place to be unless you have people there that love you. It can be very, very lonely, and it can eat you up if you don't take care of yourself. In LA, nobody wants to talk to each other, everybody's giving each other catty looks.

I love Los Angeles. I love when people make fun of it. I think, 'Good, don't come.' All the jokes about it feel out of date.
