Actually, I love mythology. When I was a kid I was obsessed with myth and I wanted to be a mythologist when I grew up. Then I realized I really just like stories.

I've always loved the idea of mythologies linked to or underlying everyday life, like the kami gods of Shintoism, where every rock, tree and stream has its own little god associated with it.

The myth that everyone once read great literature is just a myth.

I'm fascinated by almost any mythology that I can get my hands on.

I wanted to connect a modern story with a myth that I had read.

I am attracted to myths.

I like mythology - anything historical.

All my stories are like the Greek and Roman myths, and the Egyptian myths, and the Old and New Testament.
