Thank you for the confidence put in my by the motherland and the people, for giving me this chance to represent China's millions of women by going into space.

I'm Chinese-American, of course, and so it's very interesting to see China actually launch their own astronauts, becoming the third nation, following the United States and Russia, to do so.

One cannot deny the great role women have played in the world community. My flight was yet another impetus to continue this female contribution.

I'm very proud I'm Chinese and represent the Chinese community.

I'm thrilled of the acceptance I get abroad. The people are so hearty, warm and grateful and I feel privileged having seen so many countries and some of the greatest monuments.

I'm very humbled and honored. I'm very thankful to the Asian-American Community for all their support!

Welcome to President Bush, Mrs. Bush, and my fellow astronauts.

I feel privileged and honored to have flown. It's been a tremendous ride, looking back on the legacy and accomplishments, like the Hubble telescope and the launching of the International Space Station in 1998.

More women should actively participate in space flight. There are many well educated women working in the space industry; they are very good candidates.
