I always thought I could do a good job coaching, but the opportunities have not presented themselves.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I have been coaching recently. I coached high school basketball in Arizona, and I hope that more opportunities become available.
I don't feel I'm qualified to be a coach outside the high school level. I think I would need to do more education to really be a good coach.
I was a pretty good coach and working with marketing was like coaching.
Will I become a coach in the future? No way. I'd never be able to put up with someone like me.
I think I have some ideas on coaching, but listen, coaches work harder than players. The hours they put in, the headaches that they have. That's the one thing I've never liked about coaching. They have all the emotion, passion and preparation without actually getting to be able to dictate what happens.
If I miss coaching that much, I could go to some little school where they didn't recruit, where all the kids wanted to go. I believe I could find somewhere to coach.
I'm just like any person who is coaching in this league, I'm just looking for an opportunity, that's all.
All I did from day-to-day is coach. That's what my job was, that's what my passion was, and the fact that now it's something I'm being considered for is just mind-blowing to me, that I would ever be in that kind of company.
And, coaching has never been an option for me.
I always felt if you were going to be successful, make sure you get good people. You win with great players. Coaches don't win games. Players win games.
