The thing that I really love about film is that it is with you forever - it goes to your children, and they get to see it again and again and have it forever.

My children can't see many of the films that I've been in because I'm always either dying or taking my clothes off.

My only reason why I am not doing films is my children. My children need my attention, and it's my duty to give them my time. I have not given birth to them to just dump them and go off to work. I am not that kind of a person.

I'll be honest with you. My kids don't watch my movies and never have. I can maybe name a film one hand that they've seen, actually, all the way through.

Ever since I've left, I've been doing nothing but this film and traveling, promoting and doing festivals. So the good thing is that I'm not sitting around pining over whether I made the right choice in leaving. I'm moving and grooving.

Going to the movies still remains, arguably, amongst the best communal experiences that human beings can share.

I don't want to be doing movies that I don't want to do. They take so much out of you.

For me, my films are not like my children. They are like my ex-wife. They gave me so much; I gave them so much; I loved them so much; we part ways, and it's OK, we part ways.
