I want to play more festivals.

The whole idea of a festival to me is that filmmakers get to interact. You see someone strolling, you get to meet them and tell them you like their work, you admire their story.

I have an idea about building almost like a studio for some of the best Tropfest filmmakers, so they can come together and support and be given space and resources they need to tell great stories year around, so it's not just about the festivals. You know, the sky's the limit with this thing, and I'm still making it up as I go along.

The really cool thing about festivals is that you're getting to play in front of a whole lot of people who have never heard of us before. That's exciting. At the same time, it's a little bit of a challenge to capture the attention of people who have already seen a lot of bands.

My favourite festival experience is a show at midnight with the moon blazing and a crowd full of open hearts ready to dance.

We're playing all these weird festivals, usually outdoors.

Festivals are great because you get to just walk around the corner and see a new band that you've heard but not had the chance to check out.

If you're not keen on crowds, it might be best to give Edinburgh a miss during festival time when it can get extremely busy.

I've never been to a festival. I'm a creature of habit, mashed-potato comfort, I like rugs. Our sofa's squishy. Maybe too squishy - it's hard to get up sometimes.

If we get a few solid festival shows then I will have no problem booking the lads for as many quality club shows around them to make a nice tour come together.
