Designing kids clothes is something personal to me because I'm a mother. So to be able to see my kids wearing something I've designed is very fulfilling. With the kids' collection, we really try to focus on great quality with an accessible price point in styles that appeal to both parents and kids.

With clothes, I like mixing what different designers do until it becomes a personal expression of how I'm feeling that day.

Kids who have no money are still figuring out a way - somehow - to dress nicely.

I think it's important for kids to express themselves with bad fashion. I struggle a little bit now because I have a daughter and I feel with fashion, like they're sexualizing the kids so young. Little kids in high heels and that kind of thing is really difficult for me to wrap my head around.

When I became a mum myself, I really struggled to find great kids' clothes. Everything was either gorgeous but impossible to actually get open to change a nappy and expensive or poor quality.

I was always trying on clothes, always really into fashion, ever since probably kindergarten.

I didn't really play dress up when I was a kid, and I'm really T-shirt and jeans-y.
