To become a classical ballerina, you have to move to New York when you're 12 or 11 and that becomes your life. I just wanted to be good in my company in Charleston and I wanted it to always be part of my life.

I would like to continue acting. But also - if this is a dream world where everything could become true - I'd want to be a ballerina.

I've always wanted to be a professional dancer, I'd always wanted to be a ballerina. I trained for 13 years but it never came to be.

And I just thought, this is what I want to be. And I knew that dancing would be my chosen profession.

At a young age, I wanted to be a prima ballerina and had these grand ideas that I would go study at Juilliard. It's something I laugh about now.

I've got no plans to be a ballet dancer at the moment.

I danced with the London Festival at Covent Garden. I'm a ballerina by trade; I'm a ballerina who sings by the way.
