To this day I do not know whether the power which has inspired my works is something related to religion, or is indeed religion itself.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I have studied religion, and I have concluded that there is some power. We don't understand it.
Religion, in any form, is always interesting to me because of how powerful it is. Not even the religion itself, but to the people that follow it... The effect that it has had on people's minds.
Religious power, which, as I have already said, frequently identifies itself with political power, has always been a protagonist of this bitter struggle, even when it seemingly was neutral.
I believe in a higher power. I believe in inspiration.
I know the Bible is inspired because it inspires me.
I concluded that all religions had the same foundation - a belief in the supernatural - a power above nature that man could influence by worship - by sacrifice and prayer.
I have always felt that my work is religious, not sacrilegious.
I am not influenced by other human beings. But I am inspired.
I do believe in the power of prayer.
The source of my power and strength is God, and I know it, without a shadow of a doubt.
