I consider it top priority to improve water quality and increase water quantity in my community.

One of the first things I did as a new Member of Congress was help form a bipartisan Mississippi River Caucus so we could work together from both the North and the South in order to draw attention to the resources that are needed along the Mississippi River.

The U.S. Supreme Court has established that the tribes own their water. What I'd like to focus on is doing something with the water that results in economic development.

The solution is to first create an integrated economic development and recreation plan that addresses the needs of the people who live and recreate in central Idaho.
