Well, I have also believed in empowering the individual and believe there is a degree of inertia in big government that hampers the ability to respond to a rapidly evolving crisis.

When you have a new government assume power, everyone, without exception, has to work for the benefit of the common good.

Governments must give to all those who have hit life's hurdles the chance to rebuild and have a future.

What do you think, what people want from their governments? Simple. A better life for themselves and for their children. Government that is fair, just and responsible.

I tend to be naive and gullible, I guess, but I try to believe that governments believe what they say.
