There are two things I enjoy most about my work. First, I get to work with interesting and enthusiastic people who are also fired up about science. Second, every once in a while I have moments in which I suddenly understand the solution to a problem that I've been working on - those are great moments.

My work reflects a relationship to the built world that shifts between control and randomness, strangeness and beauty, comfort and fear.

What I love about my work is the variety and not knowing what's coming next, and being able to embrace something for a period of time and know something new is going to follow.

I try to do things that I think are helpful to the environment, to the animals, and to the planet.

I'm inspired by nature. Other artist's work is important for developing my perception.
