Like anyone else, I enjoy my days off.

While the four-day work week is not yet universal, most citizens enjoy the pleasures of added three-day weekends during the year. These extra days, as well as monthlong vacations, are used in the pursuit of our studies, hobbies and travels - and often all three are indulged at the same time.

My work is like my vacation, so in a way every day is like Saturday.

Days off are few and far between in the restaurant business. But on an hour off, I like to have a glass of wine with my wife.

I'm lucky that most of the time I'm on location in amazing places. Most of the time, I don't need holidays, I just stop working.

Weekends are a real luxury for me because I'm usually working.

I'd love a day devoid of responsibilities. I've often thought about going to a hotel just to have a day away from everything.

Usually I spend my holidays with my family.

I've had days when I go in my bedroom for 24 hours at a time. I call them my Cilla Black days, and they're literally black days. It's like the old Boomtown Rats song 'I Don't Like Mondays.' You just want to shut the whole day down.
