I'm happy to be a writer - of prose, poetry, every kind of writing. Every person in the world who isn't a recluse, hermit or mute uses words. I know of no other art form that we always use.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
I'm a happy camper when I'm doing both: writing and art every day, along with a dose of reading and adventures into what else is being done by other artists/writers and poets. Like breathing. I've written poems or fictions to go with a painting. The source for the inspiration of the art often eludes me.
I write all the time - I write poetry, I love to write.
I'm very happy with the way I write. I think I do it good. But I've never really considered myself a writer.
As for most writers, language is vital for me: a writer's ability to render a fictional world - characters, landscape, emotions - into something original that alters or deepens my understanding of both literature and life.
I am always writing. It is not always good, but if I am writing, I am usually happy.
I love writing. It makes me so happy.
I wrote as a kid, but I never wanted to be a writer, particularly. I had been drawing and painting for years and loved that.
A writer is what I am.
I am a writer because writing is the thing I do best.
Writing is my job. I don't think of it as art.
