Live stage is being made as you go along. You feel the energy. There's nothing like a live audience.

All I have is my performance, I try to feed in the best of everything that I could possibly do into those 90 minutes and to make a live entertainment show out of it.

Performing live in front of an audience is such a matter of will - all of those things you can do just fine in your basement, suddenly you have to do them in front of hundreds or thousands of people, and it becomes a different matter entirely.

There is nothing like a live performance. You can look at things on television, and you can look at things on YouTube, but when you get in a room full of people and you say one joke, and everyone's laughing at the same thing, it's a really great experience.

I pretty much have no life outside of the theatre. I go home every night, and I put the TV on, and I veg out and order food.

Don't be so familiar and so much into the details. Keep people dreaming. Close the window, and make them wonder.
