I'll talk about the Everglades at the drop of a hat.

Since 1972, I've been going around making speeches on the Everglades.

There are no other Everglades in the world. They are, they have always been, one of the unique regions of the earth; remote, never wholly known. Nothing anywhere else is like them.

To be a friend of the Everglades is not necessarily to spend time wandering around out there.

I want my children and my grandchildren to live in a world with clean air, pure drinking water, and an abundance of wildlife, so I've chosen to dedicate my life to wildlife conservation so I can make the world just a little bit better.

I represent central Florida, which depends on tourists for its economic survival. We need people to be able to get to the State and enjoy it.

I think the people will- who advocate having a step back and read those public opinion polls on the front page of the newspapers all over this country saying public supports restoration in restoration of the Everglades, protection of the parks and the creation of monuments.

I love talk and I love fishing. I'm having a ball.

Whether it's fly-fishing, taking your camper to the Everglades, or just traveling, everyone has got a little retirement dream.

I want everybody in Florida to live the American dream.
