I do a lot of decision making before each shoot. It's a luxury to be able to choose what you do.

I sort of feel like my job is to be a conduit to opportunities, to maximize the creativity of the day itself - because that's when the cameras are running. That's the important thing to me. Some of these shots you need to think about in advance; you need to have some ideas for them.

I've never put myself in the mindset that I'm actually any good at taking pictures, I just love to shoot things that catch my eye, whether it's landscapes or just my kids.

I'm not going to say I know a ton about what I'm looking at, but I enjoy capturing the photos and the artistry of it. I'm getting better at it, and I'll keep getting better.

I started shooting pictures because I had all these photographers around me, and life was kind of boring creatively because you play the same songs every night. So I looked for another outlet, and I started shooting.

I would like to become a better photographer. I'm working on that.

I don't let my picture be taken. I'm on too many hit lists.

I take my camera to shoots and ask all the photographers and assistants to show me what to do with it.
