If I'm going to appear in front of people I like to look my best.

I think people are able to relate to my appearance. They think of me as the girl next door.

I decided about a year ago, and I just feel like I want to see more personal style in people, and I feel like if I'm going to be out there in the public eye, they should see who I am and how I dress, and I feel like it, also.

As long as designers want to dress me, photographers want to take my picture and companies think my face will help their products, then I won't go anywhere until they're done with me.

I think there's a perception out there that people know me based on these glamorous photos they see of me in magazines, but I have about two hours of hair and makeup and then people to dress me, to make me look even better, in those pictures.

There's so much more to me as a human being than just my appearance, and I want to integrate that into my work.

Every now and then, people will recognize me at restaurants or Universal Studios or something. I'll always take a picture with them if they want. I mean, that's what telling stories and acting for a living are for - for the people.

I want to look good when people see me.

I've lived with myself for a very long time, so I'm aware of what I look like. I'm under no false pretense that I'm a stunner, so if somebody comes up and says something about my physical appearance, it's okay.

As you get a lot of exposure, a lot of people looking at you, you have to take it more so how you carry yourself, how people view you. You have to worry about your image.
