Something that is in every year for me is oversized sweaters. I feel like this is the way to go if you're running late. You can just put anything oversized on and pair it with leggings or jeans and it looks cute.

I bring a poofy gray down jacket with me wherever I go. It's meant for winter, but I use it most in the summer, when everyone cranks up the air-conditioning.

So I plan to prepare thoroughly and have several outfits waiting in the wings in case of inclement weather.

I don't buy fur coats or jewelry. I have old cars.
