I'm proud of being Hispanic.

I like to consider myself an actor who just happens to be Hispanic.

Obviously there aren't enough Latino roles out there - I wish there were more of them - but there's got to be more in the future. I'm sure there will be more in the future. The public is asking for it.

You know, I'm very proud of the large number of Hispanic endorsements that I've received.

I hope to be making television shows and films, and creating content that captivates Latinos. I try not to think about it too much, though. I'm more focused in the present.

It's funny, because I've never thought of myself as a Hispanic actor, like in 'American Gangster,' I'm playing an Italian. I've always been fortunate enough to have been allowed to play all these diverse roles.

I would hope more people would have optimism about where the Latino has come. How we have emerged, and that there will be more women, women of color especially Latinas who will get involved.

I think I'm representing a new generation of Latinos - bilingual, bicultural people.

I feel so much pride to represent my community and be Latino. No doubt about it, above my career and sales being a Latino comes first.

I am very Latino in everything I am and I do, but there's a part of me that's also something else. I'm reflective of the way this country's gonna be in the next 40 years. More multicultural is what we'll see.
