I believe the most important thing for the media is to be objective, fair, and balanced. We should not report a story with preconceptions or prejudice.

What we view in the media - and who presents it to us - does so much to determine how we think, how we feel about ourselves, and how we view the world.

Reporters tend to find in others what they are suited to find, so there is a whole school of reporting where they are cynical about the world, and everything reinforces that. Whereas I tend to be optimistic and be amused by people and like them, even rather bad people.

We in the media are just people with all of people's faults.

I've always talked to the media. I'm pretty respectful to the media.

At times, some journalists see nothing in the people apart from an opportunity to make material gain. They see them as consumers to whom we sell commodities at huge profits that keep our bank accounts growing.
