This is not the story of Elektra from the comics. We're telling the story of 'Daredevil.' In this aspect, the storylines accentuate the sociopathic tendencies in her. The writers wanted to highlight that Elektra is quite manipulative and doesn't seem to have a conscience.

In the case of Elektra I really wasn't sure I could pull it off. There were so many intellectual leaps. My character, Stick, is blind, but he can see better than most people. So I had trouble kind of finding the logic.

What you don't see backstage is what really controls the show.

Nobody's ever kept their sitcom character going after the show's off the air.

You can go on 'Saturday Night Live' now and not even play live.

For the working actor, there's nothing more stable than a network television show.

The actor is in the hands of a lot of other people, over which he has no control.

And the live show is still our main thing.
