What happens with every role, you have to trick yourself, you have to creatively find ways to explore the mental state of your character.
I go by intuition. Work-wise, that means asking myself if a role will push me outside my comfort zone, challenge me to learn something new.
In everything I do, I find some of myself, or a lot of myself, and put it into the role.
