Look at life with the eyes of a child.

Every child is so different. Their experience growing up and their experience relating to the world has so much to do with their temperament, and their likes and their dislikes.

When you have kids, you can choose to make them like you, or become like them, and if you've got something that's going to change every six days or six minutes, you can decide to be as awake and alive and learning as they are.

That part of life is the thing that we really need to concentrate on. If you lose the way children look through their eyes at the world, it really becomes kind of a doldrum.

My life revolves around my child's routine.

When your child is looking up at you, and you are putting them to bed at night, and they are just lying there, you have to remind yourself that's what it's all about.

I expected it to be overwhelming and all-encompassing, but having a kid brings you into the world in a whole different way.

While children are struggling to be unique, the world around them is trying all means to make them look like everybody else.

It's all kinds of these profound things crashing on you when your child arrives into the world. It's like you've met your reason to live.
